There She Is!! step4

"Powerful"

date: September 25, 2008

I think this is an excellent way to help straight people understand what it feels like to be gay in our present-day society. I know someone who just came out today, so it seems even more poignant. You did it very beautifully and powerfully.

I liked this, I actually just played it again after having beaten it. Which was surprising, considering how simple the gameplay is.

I liked the physics engine you put together and I'd like to see it used in an action game with enemies.

NEW LIFE- English version

"Grar"

date: May 24, 2008

Being bizarrely cryptic does not necessarily make you deep. And if this movie is saying God is her only recourse, that's actually a pretty narrow-minded dogma (I seriously doubt the monk picking up the phone and saying nothing represents her father) Furthermore, I couldn't even tell her heel broke until I read the summary.

Your revelation seems pretty self-evident. If we didn't want to survive we'd all starve to death within a few days of being born.

The Last Stand 2

"Exceptional"

submission: The Last Stand 2

Improves over the original in a lot of ways. While winning still depends on some luck with finding weapons and survivors, it requires much less than the first game. The zombies waves are tougher, and almost every night is a real fight for your life; the guns have been balanced better, as well (I was pretty alarmed to see my chainsaw run out of fuel while waist-deep in zombies.) Of course, making things much more strategic is the entertaining trap system and equipping your comrades with weapons, both nice touches, though the list of weapons they can't use is somewhat long.

I highly recommend playing the ArmorGames version, as the bonus level includes by far the best weapons in the game.

"Good, but don't stop here"

An impressive engine, but there are flaws. For one thing, forget zombies with guns. Enemies in a zombie game enemies should be more like the Berserker, where they bear down on you and must be killed before they get into close quarters. The sequences of the game feel slow and dull, because you can always mop up all the opposition easily with the sniper rifle and then plod to the end of the section. Plus, the enemy gun sound effect is the same no matter where they're positioned or how far away they are, so it perpetually feels as though a zombie is firing on you from the near left, when your rifle scope reveals them to be several miles down the road to your right.
I also ran into a few bugs...after killing the minigun zombie I simply stopped taking damage, and the zoom of the sniper scope began screwing up my regular view until I was playing the whole game on x4 magnification by the final boss (he's pretty damn ugly that close up). Lastly, at the zombie sniper battle, I took out two or three of the snipers and then could not see the next one. I was looking straight at him on my radar and he just wasn't there. In the end I just ignored him and walked to the end of the section.

With some debugging, this could be great.

This is exactly how I work. And this may be the best use of the Final Fantasy battle music ever conceived. Huzzah to you.
